I am Glad ?

I am glad
that at this age,
on this stage,
I can gauge,
and tell when-
-inside and outside the cage!

I am glad
that you know democracy,
and you also know idiosyncrasy,
yet, people power is lunacy!

I am glad
that a scourge -
- like AIDS,
made you know what,
STIGMA is, yet-
-it was there,
performed in acts strange!

I am glad
that you know-
-you cannot describe,
another by their tribe,
yet, isn't that the vibe?

I am glad
that corruption,
is a deliberate intention,
yet-
- a term so easy to mention,
for a quick connection!

I am glad
that I can-
-read and write
my pencil, my might,
so day through night,
I sit here, and write!
