MY LABYRINTH

Its intricate web has me stuck,
Like a trapped prey am out of luck,
The lights here are dimmed to dark,
In this sea of madness looms an attack,
Vicious like wolves is a pack.

At times its the anger,
Pure in form is the obvious danger,
Above me the harbinger,
Conniving schemes that endanger,
Inside here am a stranger!

A morsel of light is all I seek,
To see even tomorrow leak...
A little hope no matter how bleak,
So tired I am that I pick,
Anything offered in this mystic!

Once upon it was clear,
With a loved one close here,
A someone I could call dear...
But in a single tear,
Everything I knew was unclear!

In this maze,
All I do is gaze,
At nothing to amaze,
I face down like cattle in graze,
Caught up in a heinous craze!

The need to escape is like a fire!
Burning inside me with the desire,
Of freedom to acquire,
My ultimate require,
In here, that's all I admire!

A labyrinth is a complicated network of passages.
